The Untouchables

The Untouchables was an american classic drama television series premiered on Octobre 15, 1959 to May 21, 1963 on ABC . It deal with the experience of Eliot Ness, a United States Department agent, as fought crime in the 1930 and with the help of special team called “The Untouchables”. It was remade in 1987 film by Brian de Palma. It was narrated by Walter Winchell. The show has received criticism from Italian-Americans because of negative thought about mobsters and gangsters. The television show had 118 episodes which ran for 50 minutes.

The show starring Robert Shack as Eliot Ness , as special agent and with his team who battle organized crime in 1930 Chicago. In that time , there was called organized crime called “Mafia” , headed by Al Capone (Neville Brand). Al Capone is involved to dirty game of sex, crime and corruption. With special agent Eliot Ness and with his team, they are trying to defeat the alcohol Mafia

Other characters in the series were Jerry Paris as Agent Martin Flaherty,(1st season only) Abel Fernandez as Agt. William Youngfellow, Nick Georgiade as Agt. Enrico Rossi, Anthony George as Agt. Cam Allison,(1st season only) Steve London as Agt.Jack Rossman, Bruce Gordon as Frank Nitti and Frank Dekova as Jimmy Napoli. Chuck Hicks as Agt Lamarr Kane (1st season only) Announcer: Les Lampson - Very distinctive dramatic voice.


The Untouchables DVD is a collection of DVDs in a box set as shown above, all 100% in chronological order from the pilot to the finale
