Picket Fences was premiered on the 18th of September 1992 and lasted on the 24th of April 1996. It has four (4) seasons with eighty-eight (88) episodes. The series was set in Rome, Wisconsin. From award winning producer David E. Kelley comes Picket Fences, a story of a small town sherrif trying to maintain the town & his family.
The television show starring Sherrif James Brock (Tom Skerrit) is trying to maintain the small town of Rome, Wisconin. His wife Jill (Kathy Baker) is the doctor of the town, daughter Kimberley (Holly Marie Combs), from a previous marriage of Jimmy, is the level headed student growing up in Rome. Jimmy and Jill have two other children, Matthew (Justin Shenkarow) and Zach (Adam Wylie). Picket Fences deals with life in a small town - in this case the town of Rome, Wisconsin; it centres around the Brock Family. Jimmy Brock is the Sheriff of the town and likes to think he's the centre of attention. A lot happens in this small town from bizarre murders to rape, assault, drunk driving, kidnapping & spontaneous human combustion. It seems that all the crimes that have occurred in the whole of the United States have at one point or another happened in Rome and they have to deal with it in their own quirky way.
