Supernatural was a paranormal television shows that was premiered on September 13, 2005, where the second season premiered on September 28 2006, and the third season is set to premiere on October 4 2007. The television shows was created by Eric Kripke and ran for 44 episodes.
The supernatural stars Jensen Ackles as Sam and Jared Padalecki Dean Winchester, two brothers who travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way. Both are investigating and combatting paranormal events and other unexplained occurrences, many of them based on American urban legends and folklore as well as classic supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves and ghosts.

this is a really good original television series, a fantastic show that gives fans thrills and chills every episode
Most shows you tune into after the first few minutes your lost and you lose interest, unlike Supernatural. CBS's Threshold, may not live up to the X-Files, but Supernatural does.
